Overarching Objectives

As part of our curriculum renewal, we are working to define a set of ''overarching objectives'' that will be a reference point for a new undergraduate medical education curriculum at Dalhousie.  These objectives will define what qualities make a good doctor. Background information and work to date on these objectives can be found at the Medical Curriculum Blog at https://blogs.dal.ca/medcurriculum/.

We are also asking members of the public to post their comments on What Qualities Make a Good Doctor at http://www.medicine.dal.ca/dean/qualities.cfm.

Early in the 2009-2010 academic year, Reid organized a gathering of 90-plus medical educators, students, community members, and partners in healthcare to help develop a set of overarching objectives for Dalhousie's MD program.
